The proposed development at 3257 N Halsted aims to establish a 6-floor, 51-room boutique hotel with a focus on serving the LGBTQ+ community. As part of the project, the developers are requesting a zoning change from C1-3 to C1-5. The hotel is planned to include a first-floor restaurant and a basement speakeasy. The development is located in a transit-served location along Halsted bus routes, and in proximity to the Belmont CTA station. The sixth floor will be dedicated to an indoor amenity space and indoor/outdoor pool area. The hotel will contain a loading zone along Aldine and two parking spaces, and will seek to contract with nearby parking lots for their guests.
The development has obtained the approval of the neighborhood association, Heart of Lake View Neighbors.
